Sungrow announced that it will accelerate growth in the Turkish market. The company emphasizes that, in line with its comprehensive plan to increase Turkey’s renewable energy capacity to 90% of total electricity production by 2050, it will focus on solar energy production systems and energy storage solutions.
According to BloombergNEF data, Sungrow, a leading player in the field of PV inverters and energy storage solutions, states that it prioritizes R&D activities. Moritz Rolf, Vice President responsible for Europe, pointed out Turkey’s significant renewable energy potential and indicated that it is a key country within the European network. Rolf made the following assessment: “Turkey has considerable potential in clean energy, and we are committed to being one of the critical countries within Sungrow’s European organization. We operate with the vision of ‘Clean energy for everyone’ globally and aim to contribute to Turkey’s transformation.”
Since 2017, Sungrow has been operating in Turkey, aiming to strengthen its share in the PV inverter market while also expecting energy storage solutions to contribute to the market transformation. The company has two repair centers, one service depot, and technical support centers in 7 provinces in Turkey. It also collaborates with business partners such as Krannich Turkey, Sunspectra, and Insight Energy.
