As our anticipation for Battlefield 6 continues to grow, new details about the game are emerging, and leaks are happening. While gaining information about the tools and weapons we can use with these new developments, the cross-platform feature exclusive to consoles has been clarified, and two new gameplay videos have also been leaked.
Aircraft and Land Vehicles Usable in Battlefield 6
Let’s start with vehicles and weapons. A post by ModernWarzone, known for leaks related to Battlefield and Call of Duty, showed eight vehicles—both air and land. In the air category, there are a two-person Attack Helicopter, a five-person Transport Helicopter, a high-speed Attack Jet for assaults, and a Fighter Jet that will provide a significant advantage in air combat. On the ground side, there will be a two-person Main Battle Tank, a six-person Infantry Fighting Vehicle, a five-person Light Ground Transport, and a Mobile Anti-Air Vehicle for single players.

Cross-platform support will not be available specifically for consoles in Battlefield 6
As you may remember, in our previous news report, IGN’s interview with technical director Christian Buhl and senior console combat designer Matthew Nickerson confirmed that cross-platform support in Battlefield 6 would be limited to consoles. Following these statements that suggested the possibility of console-exclusive cross-platform support, Electronic Arts provided clear information to settle the matter.
It is said that there will be no console-exclusive cross-platform option. When this feature is enabled, console players will match with each other. If there aren’t enough players to fill the lobby, PC players will fill the remaining slots. If you disable this option, players using the same console will match with each other. That means PlayStation players will compete with PlayStation players, and Xbox players with Xbox players.
Battlefield 6 Operation Firestorm Gameplay Video
Finally, another post by ModernWarzone shared a new gameplay video showing the Operation Firestorm map on our screen. As you know, this map was first included in Battlefield 3 and also appeared in Battlefield 4. In Battlefield 6, it will be redesigned and featured again.
The video, recorded with Electronic Arts’ permission and accessible from different angles, shows intense combat scenes especially in Construction Site, Filling Station, Logistics Hub, and Warehouses areas.
The new version of the map highlights both environmental destruction and visual enhancements. With the power of the Frostbite engine, we can say that a modern nostalgic experience will be live.
