Meta has introduced its next-generation smart glasses developed in partnership with Ray-Ban. The Ray-Ban Display and Ray-Ban Meta Gen 2 come with more advanced cameras, screens, and artificial intelligence integration.
Meta announced the Ray-Ban Display and Ray-Ban Meta Gen 2
The Ray-Ban Display model, as the name suggests, contains an internal micro OLED screen. This display can project notifications, navigation, and basic applications directly onto the lens of the glasses. This allows users to track many functions through the glasses without looking at their smartphones.
The Ray-Ban Meta Gen 2 is more of a multimedia-focused product. It is equipped with a 12 MP camera, live streaming support, voice assistant integration, and more powerful speakers. Its enhanced microphone system filters background noise to provide clearer sound experiences.
Both models maintain the classic Ray-Ban look with stylish designs. Additionally, thanks to Meta AI integration, users can take photos, record short videos, and perform instant information queries through the glasses.
These new smart glasses stand out as a strong alternative in the wearable technology market against Apple Vision Pro and Samsung’s anticipated XR devices.
