Beginning with the name Rogue Ops, Battlefield 6 Season 1 presents us with the eagerly anticipated content plan as the release approaches. New maps, modes, weapons, and various additions are among the highlights of this season. News that signals a full and exciting first season is thrilling the gamers.
The main features of the season’s content include three new maps, two new game modes, and six new weapons. Additionally, two new expansions, one new feature, and a limited-time event are also included in this season. The content schedule becomes clear with the first step of the season.
The first map, Blackwell Fields, joins the game on October 28, 2025, with the opening of the season. On the same day, the 4v4 mode-based Strikepoint is also activated; each team has one life. Moreover, a new vehicle called APC Traverser Mark 2, along with three weapons named SOR-300C, Mini Scout, and GGH-22, as well as Rail Cover and LPVO attachments, are added at this stage.
The second phase begins on November 18, 2025, with California Resistance. The Eastwood map is included in this phase, along with a new mode called Sabotage. In this 8v8 mission-based mode, each team will have a single turn and aims to capture/eliminate targets within a set time. Additionally, two weapons, DB-12 and M327 Trait variants, along with Troy Angled attachment and Battle Pickups feature are introduced.
The third and final part of the season, Winter Offensive, starts on December 9, 2025. The limited-time event called Ice Lock Empire State, featuring a depiction of the Empire State covered in ice, highlights this phase. During the event, beyond aesthetic enhancements, players also gain a melee weapon called Ice Climbing Axe. Additionally, a new mechanic named Freeze becomes active in the game from this stage onwards.
