YouTube announced many new features for content creators at its event today. Most of these features are powered by artificial intelligence.
One of the most notable innovations is an AI tool that automatically edits raw footage into a “first draft.” This software can create an almost ready video by adding music, transitions, and voice-over. Currently in testing phase, the tool will be rolled out in the coming weeks.

The platform also introduced a new software that can perform voice-overs in English and Hindi. This feature will be available in the YouTube Create app and Shorts content by the end of the year. Additionally, a tool that converts dialogues in videos into “catchy soundtracks” for use in Shorts is also coming.
YouTube also expanded the Veo 3 integration for the short video format Shorts. Users will now be able to produce voice-enabled, high-quality videos with just a single text command. New updates include more accurate prompt matching, character animation, and styling options.
On the YouTube Studio side, a “talkative AI assistant” has been implemented to support content analysis. Additionally, the platform is enabling collaboration features allowing up to four creators to work together on the same video. Lastly, a headline A/B testing feature is coming, enabling content creators to test three different headline versions.
