As a news update, a short gameplay test announcement for Valor Mortis has been released. Shared by One More Level, this announcement states that it offers players the opportunity to participate in the testing process. This test, which will provide an exciting experience for gamers, will be available on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series platforms with Turkish language support.
A first-person perspective gameplay test for Valor Mortis is planned to be conducted openly within October. Don’t forget to apply for participation; registration can be made via the official website or through the “Request Access” button on the Steam page. This test will give an opportunity to explore some parts of the pre-alpha design.
During the test, two major battle encounters and different enemy types encountered during intermission will demonstrate the game’s dynamics. Additionally, the first part of the character development tree will be accessible to players, and the character’s level can be increased up to 10. Community events will include a speed running competition, fan art contest, and screenshot challenges.
Test participants will have the chance to win surprise packs that can be used from the first day. The game features a narrative set in 19th century Europe, under the shadow of Napoleon and amid a plague outbreak. We will take on the role of a soldier named William, renowned for his resurrection abilities; as we progress through the land afflicted by the plague, we will fight to survive using various weapons and skills encountered along the way.
Valor Mortis draws attention with its fast-paced movement mechanics reminiscent of the Ghostrunner series and features dynamic combat that emphasizes defense against attacks. Additionally, the game, which includes exploration zones in a Metroidvania style, invites players on an adventure filled with hidden areas and surprises.
