WhatsApp, the world’s most well-known instant messaging application, is working on a new feature. This new feature will allow users to manually create a “favorites” list. Connecting with users added to the favorites list will be easier than ever.
WhatsApp’s new feature appeared for the first time in the iOS beta version with code 24.3.10.70, which was released a few days ago. Today, the feature was detected in the application codes of WhatsApp Web. The innovation, which will make things easier for users, will be most beneficial to those who are in contact with many people on WhatsApp.
WhatsApp’s new feature will look like this:
Let’s say you created a favorite contacts list for yourself on WhatsApp. Accessing the chat pages with individuals on this list will be possible with a single tap. When the user selects the favorites in the filtering section, he will start to see only the chat pages of the people in the list. In this way, the confusion on the page where the chats are listed will be eliminated with one touch.
Only chats in the favorite list will be listed, making it easier to find the chat you are looking for.
WhatsApp’s favorite contacts feature will not only consist of text messages. Users will be able to quickly access their favorites on the search page.
WhatsApp did not make any statement about the new feature it is working on. However, it is possible that the feature, which was detected in both iOS and web versions, will be released for all platforms in the near future.
