Artificial intelligence has now become a part of our lives, and many companies are looking for solutions in different areas in artificial intelligence. One of these companies is Nokia. The technology company announced that it has developed an artificial intelligence-based tool that can report malfunctions in real time and increase productivity for industrial workers.
Although the Finnish manufacturer has disappeared from the smartphone market, it has been providing companies with 4G and 5G internal communication systems and data collection infrastructures from machine sensors for a long time. The idea is to provide employees with an assistant who will “help them understand the data,” says Stephane Daeuable, the firm’s Enterprise Analytics Marketing Manager.
Artificial intelligence will send warning notices
This tool, called MX Workmate, will be integrated into Nokia’s existing industrial connection technologies. The artificial intelligence large language model will be able to write texts that look like they were written by human hands. At least Nokia’s statements are in this direction. These warnings include active warning messages before the machines break down, recommendations for the necessary actions for repair, analyzes to increase production quality and speed, and messages about what to do in case of work accidents.
Although artificial intelligence regulations are now in the early stages, Nokia states that it has developed a design for this vehicle that complies with operational technology regulations. However, it will take some time for companies to trust this kind of technology, and they will first want to make sure that the system works. Nokia states that the vehicle can be used after one or one and a half years, that it will be very accurate, clear and open, and that it will also work in a trackable and controlled manner. The first version of the vehicle will appear at the Mobile World Congress to be held in Barcelona.
